Part 2: There are six new tracks at the end, numbers 19 to 24. They are pretty out there. I would like you to take them further out there. Feel free to get as dramatic as possible. God knows I sure am.
Also, maybe you could be my point woman, shouting in the background: "You're damn right!" and "say it, brother! tell them again!" and "No buddy treats Tommie like that! Not when I'm around!"
I could do the same thing for you, if you would like:
"Please don't hurt 'em, Peggie!"
I still think we should be action figures. We could choose two of each power: Love, Music, Exercise and Healthy Food. You could be Love Woman wiht the power of Healthy Food, where as I would be Hermano Tom the Fourth, with the imagical power of Exercise. We could walk about town, bullying around our enemies: Fame, Power, Disease, and Bagged Chips.
tentative title:
Music, Exercise, Healthy Food and Love
The Math of Aftermath
I want you to listen through and see if anything strikes you. These are by no means finished, but I tried to make it a fun listen. I also extended a lot to make sure that you had enough time to get into the groove and wouldn't have to rewind.
Natural themes for our collaborative songwriting will develop. Who knows what the songs will be about? This is my favorite part of the creative process. I am fascinated by the skills and abilities of our future selves.
So far, I have been thinking "positive exercise music that has a mean edge." I have also been thinking about the combination of money and love and the conflict that can arise from that. My action figure name could be "Money" and you could be "Love." We could be getting along or fighting. Or both, depending on the day.
Some songs have pre-exisiting themes. I have given these tracks titles. I didn't set out to write songs, I meant to write beats, but how can you fight the lyrics when they come? You can't. The Math of Aftermath is bigger than the two of us.
You can right click on the tracks below and save the mp3 to your computer if you would like.
